Two options to examine without a bank mortgage.

Buying with your own funds or through a developer payment schedule is different from applying for a bank loan. It may suit a self-employed or non-resident buyer without local payslips. The project must still accept your application. Match the full price, booking payment and every instalment to your payment capacity.

Is a passport the only document needed?

DLD lists a valid passport for identifying foreign non-residents. This does not remove other transaction documents or source-of-funds checks. A developer or intermediary may request additional evidence. Acceptance with a passport alone is not guaranteed.
